10 things about me ...
1. I grew up in a real estate minded family. My family has been involved in real estate investing since I was young. This led me to pursue real estate as a rewarding career path.
2. I am an independent real estate investor, property manager and landlord for several of my own local real estate investments. Wouldn't you rather work with a Realtor who has direct, hands-on experience with his/her own real estate investments?
3. I like to remodel homes. Recently, I coordinated several home remodel projects in Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo, Mountain View and Los Altos. My experience remodeling homes has taught me how to spot a quality property or a property that has potential to be beautiful.
4. I relentlessly scour the latest listings to find my buyers the right property. My husband thinks I am obsessed with searching the MLS, but when I find a match, my clients are thrilled!
5. I have an M.B.A. Degree. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and my M.B.A. degree from University of San Francisco. I utilize my M.B.A. skills to evaluate properties and write clear, effective business plans that are unique to each client.
6. My past work experience is in Advertising and Sales. I have adopted the necessary marketing skills needed to effectively promote a property that “rises above the noise” of other marketing clutter.
7. I realize that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest and most expensive decisions we make in our lifetime. It is essential that my clients’ desires be clearly understood. My clients know I am not comfortable unless they are comfortable moving forward in their real estate decisions.
8. I grew up "over the hill". I am lucky to have grown up “over the hill” in Los Altos but am even more lucky to now live with my husband in gorgeous Santa Cruz where much of my family resides.
9. I have a "little sis" with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County. She is lovely and we have a lot of fun together once a week talking, hiking, surfing, getting hot chocolate, doing her homework, going to local bookstores and more!
10. My favorite quote is: “Be true to your work, your word, and your friend.” Integrity is key to living a truly successful life. This is one of my favorite quotes to live by.
